The Rose & Crown dates back to the 16th century and has had a few face lifts and tucks over the years. The latest in January 2008 when we designed and created our contemporary dining room. We were also keen to retain a village bar where locals and visitors to the village can relax and enjoy our selection of Draught Lagers, Real Ales & Wines.
There are many so called Gastro Pubs and large Chain Pubs in the area but here at the Rose we have endeavoured to remain loyal to the traditions of what good Pub Food is about. We serve simple fresh Local and British sourced food products (where possible) and try to deliver to the table a great traditional British Pub Meal at an affordable price.
